We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming HyPro4ST Train the Trainer Seminar, which aims to improve your skills in sustainable tourism project management. This seminar will help you integrate green, creative and digital processes into your work to successfully manage projects in the sustainable tourism sector, while enhancing your resilience and training strategies.
SUSTAINABLE CITY invites you to participate in the Living Streets of the Municipality of Karpenisi!
From 16 July 2024 at 18:00 and for 5 consecutive Tuesdays, the Municipality of Karpenisi will pedestrianize two main streets (Zenopoulou and Kosmas Aitolou) and organize activities for citizens with the central slogan “Make the city... yours”. On 11-12 June 2024, the 3rd meeting for the European Hypro4ST project was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, bringing together representatives from the 17 partners involved in the project.
SUSTAINABLE CITY, the project coordinator, participated with its staff in the meeting in which the status of the material developed at this stage of the project was discussed. The training programme entitled "Sustainable and Hybrid Project Management in Tourism" and the HyPro4ST Special Guide for teachers and educators in higher and vocational education are the result of the consortium's efforts so far, aiming to create a holistic approach in the field of Sustainable Tourism. The two-day Kick-off Meeting for the European Project ''Leadership for Climate Resilient Buildings - CLIMRES'' was held on 04 and 05 June 2024 in Athens. The meeting was held hybridly, allowing the 43 participants to attend via physical presence or to connect online.
CLIMRES project aims to identify and categorise the vulnerabilities of buildings to disasters (heat waves, fires, floods, earthquakes) and to assess their impact on buildings. On 29 and 30 May 2024, the 2nd training event and the 3rd meeting of the European ENERGATE project took place in Riga, Latvia.
Representatives from the 12 partners of the project, including members of SUSTAINABLE CITY, met in order to evaluate the progress made so far and to further monitor the objectives set for the continuation of the project. SUSTAINABLE CITY Network (SCN), as the HyPro4ST Coordinator, participated in the MedPAN Regional Experience Sharing Workshop on 17th of April 2024. Representatives of SCN travelled to La Londe les Maures, France to share the project's objectives and results with other participants.
The project aims to create a new job profile, the Sustainable and Hybrid Project Manager, in the Sustainable Tourism sector, and to develop the corresponding training material. The HyPro4ST training course seeks to improve the project management skills, as well as the digital, green, entrepreneurial and creative skills of whoever attends it. At the same time, the trainees can get certified by TÜV Austria free of charge during the project implementation. |
