SUSTAINABLE CITY Network (SCN), as the HyPro4ST Coordinator, participated in the MedPAN Regional Experience Sharing Workshop on 17th of April 2024. Representatives of SCN travelled to La Londe les Maures, France to share the project's objectives and results with other participants. The project aims to create a new job profile, the Sustainable and Hybrid Project Manager, in the Sustainable Tourism sector, and to develop the corresponding training material. The HyPro4ST training course seeks to improve the project management skills, as well as the digital, green, entrepreneurial and creative skills of whoever attends it. At the same time, the trainees can get certified by TÜV Austria free of charge during the project implementation. On 7 & 11 March 2024, two online meetings were held for the ENERGATE platform consultation. The participants of these meetings were the Mayor of Xiromero, Mr. Ioannis Triantafillakis, and several representatives of the Municipalities of Oichalia, Aigialia, Halki and Pylos - Nestor. The main outcome of the project is the creation of a platform that will act as a "marketplace" for the energy efficiency of buildings (Energy Efficiency Marketplace). The platform will be used by building owners, implementing bodies, financing bodies and public bodies. On 21 February 2023, the 7th and final General Assembly of the DECIDO European Research Project took place in Brussels. A key topic of discussion was the organization of the Final Conference, reviewing the KPIs and remaining deliverables. On Thursday 22 February 2023, the Final Conference of the project took place and was attended by speakers and guests from all over Europe. Executives from SUSTAINABLE CITY Network presented the Greek pilot implementation for the prediction and management of power outages on the island of Halki. They also participated in the panel of speakers of the session “DECIDO for better governance: Stories from the four pilots”. In the framework of the European project HyPro4ST, a labour market needs analysis was conducted during March and April 2023 on the topic of project management in sustainable tourism. The Greek partners (SCN, OTC, CHA, PI4SD, ReadLab P.C.) held meetings for the proper distribution of work, aiming at a comprehensive result. On 04-06 December 2023, the 3rd Training Event of the European project "SETOFF" took place in Ohrid, North Macedonia. The three-day event was held in a hybrid format, enabling remote participation for those who could not attend in person. Representatives from the 8 partners of the project, among them associates of SUSTAINABLE CITY Network and the representative of the Civil Protection Department of the Municipality of Delta, Mr. Antonios Papadogiannis, participated in order to evaluate and finalize the training material and the certification process and to explore the subsequent monitoring of the project objectives. The 6th General Assembly of the European Research Project DECIDO was held in Zaragoza, Spain, on 21-22 November 2023. The meeting was held in a hybrid format, enabling those who could not attend in person to participate online. The assembly was attended by all project partners and all presentations concerning the review of the 2nd phase of the project experimentation were successfully carried out. In particular, there was a strong focus on the final configuration of the platform, the planning of the final deliverables and the review of the progress of the pilot applications. |
