6th General Assembly for the European Project DECIDO

The 6th General Assembly of the European Research Project DECIDO was held in Zaragoza, Spain, on 21-22 November 2023. The meeting was held in a hybrid format, enabling those who could not attend in person to participate online.

The assembly was attended by all project partners and all presentations concerning the review of the 2nd phase of the project experimentation were successfully carried out. In particular, there was a strong focus on the final configuration of the platform, the planning of the final deliverables and the review of the progress of the pilot applications.

Executives of SUSTAINABLE CITY Network attended the meeting and presented the developments of the pilot application on the island of Halki. The most important achievement of the progress so far is the successful creation of the risk index through which the possibility of a power outage will be predicted.

Following the installation of the energy consumption sensor at the island's town hall and with the contribution of the National Technical University of Athens team, a major step towards the successful implementation of the policy and the resolution of a persistent problem for the residents of Halki has been taken.
