Programme Contract between SUSTAINABLE CITY and the Municipality of Pylos Nestor

The programme contract between SUSTAINABLE CITY and the Municipality of Pylos-Nestor for the implementation of the "1st PHASE OF THE MUNICIPALITY'S URBAN PLANNING" was signed on January 8, 2019.

The first phase includes a modification of the town plan of Pylos and demarcation of the settlements of the Municipality. The project involves a series of analytical studies up to the final publications in the Government Gazette.

It is an ambitious project based on a mixed technical team with members of the Technical Service of the Municipality and coordination of the SUSTAINABLE CITY network, for the first time with such a structure and to such an extent.

This effort is only the beginning and sets the basis for solving problems inherited from the past in order to deliver to the citizens a definitive and modern development framework based on clear urban planning rules. The project will continue, in combination with the already existing actions of the Municipality, to cover the whole of its territory.
