4th General Assembly of the DECIDO Project

The 4th General Assembly of the DECIDO project was held on 15-16 March 2023 in Vuokatti, Finland, where project partners from each partner country gathered to discuss the progress made during the first experimental phase, as well as the next stages of the project.

The SCN team was among the participants and contributed significantly to the discussion on the different approaches and methodologies for the formulation of emergency policies, presenting the actions that have been carried out for the creation of a policy regarding the prediction of power outages on the island of Halki.

The meeting concluded with a discussion on the lessons learned from the first pilot phase, as well as plans for the second phase of the pilot projects.

For the second phase of the pilots, SUSTAINABLE CITY Network will cooperate with the National Technical University team to develop an algorithm that will highlight the possibility of a power outage using data collected from a sensor that will be installed at a municipal facility in Halki.

In addition, the next General Assembly of the project, which will be organised by the SCN team, will be held in Halki in June 2023.
