SUSTAINABLE CITY participates in the European Project "PROSPECT - Peer Powered Cities and Regions"30/5/2019
SUSTAINABLE CITY participates in the European Project "PROSPECT - Peer Powered Cities and Regions", which focuses on learning and familiarising local authorities about the financing and implementation of energy saving and RES projects. In the context of the project, executives of the Sustainable City Network travelled to Turin of Italy to attend a two-day training programme on the Innovative Energy Efficiency Conventions (SAR), which has been successfully implemented in Italy at Bruino City School. This building has been certified as a zero-energy consumption building (nZEB). Executives of the Piemonte Region were the Trainers at the seminar, while along with SUSTAINABLE CITY, executives from Romania, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Spain attended the programme.
In the corresponding groups of this European project, where the participants are trained in innovative financing solutions for sustainable energy projects and climate actions, the participants consist of Municipalities - Members that have shown interest and have been invited by the Sustainable City Network. In particular, the Municipalities of Igoumenitsa, Istiaia-Aidipsos, Oichalia, Milos, Pylos - Nestor, Sifnos, Saronikos and Thebes from Greece as well as the Municipality of Aradippou from Cyprus. Executives of these Municipalities participated in teleconferences and traveled in the context of the programme. Comments are closed.
