Sustainable City in the 10th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management

SUSTAINABLE CITY participated in the 10th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management, organized in Chania by the National Technical University of Athens.

The conference was held at the Chania Cultural Centre from 21 to 24 June, with distinguished speakers and over 1000 delegates from various countries participating in it.

​On the topic "Bioeconomy, the experience of cities in waste management", SUSTAINABLE CITY shared with representatives of local government, public and private institutions, members of the academic and research community, the case of the Municipalities of Athens participating in the European WaysTUP! and the impressive results that have emerged from this effort over the last four years.

The promotion of developments and the exchange of views on sustainable solid waste management issues enables the development and implementation of effective practices as well as the maximum exploitation of modern technology, in order to save our limited resources.

SUSTAINABLE CITY participates in every action that promotes the strengthening of the circular economy and hopes that the results of the project it had the pleasure to be a partner in will have an impact on the overall waste management effort.
