Invitation to the POWERYOUTH workshop

We invite you to the event titled "Sustainability in the Peloponnese Region: The Role of Energy Communities, the Agri-Food Sector and the Circular Economy in Shaping the Future", which will take place on Thursday, 16 May 2024 at 17:30 at the Malliaropouleio Municipal Theatre of Tripoli.

SUSTAINABLE CITY will coordinate the first session of the event entitled "Energy Communities and their Contribution to the Energy Transition". This particular module will include the conduct of a workshop that will examine the regulatory framework and barriers to the development of energy communities, taking into account the local conditions of the Peloponnese Region. The workshop takes place in the framework of the European project POWERYOUTH.

This will be followed by the sessions "Circular Economy - The Role of Cities and Citizens" and "Tackling Climate Challenges in Modern Agriculture", which will be coordinated by Europe Direct Peloponnese and the National Coordinator of Greece of the European Climate Pact - INZEB respectively.

Participants will gain important knowledge on innovative sustainability practices vital for the energy, economy and agri-food sectors.
