The Cities Network “SUSTAINABLE CITY” is organizing on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., the Web Seminar titled "Greek Pilot Application: The Management of Power Outages in the Municipality of Halki", in the framework of the European project DECIDO.
The seminar will be conducted in Greek and aims to present the policy formulated during the Greek Pilot implementation on the island of Halki. DECIDO aims to support and empower local authorities to use and exploit the open data available in the field of disaster risk management and the implementation of appropriate and adapted policies.
SUSTAINABLE CITY is the coordinator of the Greek pilot application that focuses on addressing emergencies arising from power cuts in the Municipality of Halki. The pilot application aspires to influence the policy of municipalities in Greece regarding the anticipation, communication and response to emergencies due to power outages that require the immediate attention of both local authorities and citizens.
