On June 14–15, 2023, all partners met again for the 2nd meeting of the European project HyPro4ST, this time in Opatija, Croatia. The meeting offered everyone the opportunity to participate actively, sharing ideas and concerns.
SUSTAINABLE CITY, in its role as coordinator, together with the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management (FTHM) as host of the two-day meeting, welcomed participants who traveled from the other countries involved in the project (Hungary, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, and Slovenia). The purpose was to present and assess the project’s progress and outcomes so far. During the meeting, the partners reviewed the work completed to date, discussed ongoing activities, and agreed on the next steps to maximize the potential of human resources, knowledge, and innovation that the project aspires to bring into the labor market. The meeting was attended by the General Manager and staff of SUSTAINABLE CITY, who presented reports on the labor market needs of the sustainable tourism sector. They also set the next step: the development of the profile for a new job position, the “Sustainable and Hybrid Project Manager,” including the necessary skills and qualifications required, as well as the key components of the training material to be developed in the coming months.
The significant responsibility entrusted to SUSTAINABLE CITY highlights both the expertise of its staff and the confidence placed in the organization by prominent and reputable institutions. Comments are closed.
