Completion of the HyPro4ST project

Starting from the kick-off meeting in Athens in September 2022, the HyPro4ST project team gathered for one last time in Palermo, Italy on 12-16 May 2025.

The 4th meeting and the closing ceremony of the project were held in the Sicilian capital to finalise all pending project issues and to celebrate the team's efforts over the years.

Together with the project team, 17 people from the 6 partner countries, who had completed the training material, travelled to participate in the 2nd Work-based Learning Activity.

The closing ceremony was attended by more than 300 people who had the opportunity to see the results of the project, the most important of which are:

• The Labour Market Needs Report for Greece, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary
• The Job Profile Sustainable Hybrid Project Manager qualification for the Sustainable Tourism Sector
• The HyPro4ST Practical Guide
• The HyPro4ST Training Course
• The Certification scheme

The contribution of SUSTAINABLE CITY as project coordinator was crucial for the success of HyPro4ST. With consistency, professionalism and commitment to the project objectives, the SUSTAINABLE CITY team managed to bring together partners from six different countries, ensure their effective cooperation and guarantee the quality and sustainability of the results. Their leadership and coordinating role have been a model of good practice in European project management, leaving a legacy of knowledge and tools that will continue to support sustainable tourism after the completion of HyPro4ST.
