Closing event for the Living Streets project

The Living Streets project, funded by the Green Fund, is slowly coming to an end. The participating municipalities, having successfully completed their action plans, will share their experiences in a final online meeting.

The Living Streets Closing Event will take place online on Tuesday 1 April 2025, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm, and will bring together those who organised and participated in the actions to offer residents of their areas a different view of their streets, with those who are likely to implement the project in the future.

During the event, representatives of the Municipalities of Karpenisi, Kavala and Aigialia will present the results of the project as they experienced them, analysing the benefits for the local community and the challenges they faced. Through their presentations and the discussion that will follow, the aim of the event is to highlight the value of sharing knowledge and good practices and to lay the foundations for similar future initiatives.

The online Living Streets Closing Event is expected to be an important step in highlighting the collaboration and innovation that characterises sustainability efforts in our cities.
