On 15 & 16 February 2024 the 2nd Meeting of the European Project RISKADAPT took place in Bologna, Italy. The meeting was organized by the University of Bologna (UNIBO) and was attended in person by 30 representatives of the project partners from 8 European countries.
RISKADAPT aspires to provide a solution for the assessment of climate impacts on the structural elements of buildings and the evaluation of their adaptation options to the new climate data. The aim of the project is to develop an integrated, interoperable, free and user-friendly platform (PRISKADAPT), which will provide the tools and data needed by public authorities to make informed decisions on the adaptation of buildings to climate change.
On the first day of the meeting, the project team focused on identifying interested users, determining their requirements and needs, outlining the technical specifications and the architecture of the platform. The second day focused on a discussion with a special advisor to resolve legal and ethical issues related to the project. Special emphasis was also placed on preparing for the exploitation of its results, as well as organising dissemination and diffusion activities. The meeting was successfully concluded and was highly encouraging and constructive for the smooth implementation of the project activities. Comments are closed.
